I graduated from Karolinska Institute, studying the role and regulation of polymerase eta in damage-induced cohesion. Then I moved to the Francis Crick Institute to investigate the determinants of fission yeast chromosome dimensions. Now, I am involved in the yeast securin and separase evolution project.
I hope to explore chromosome biology from an evolutionary perspective; learn new model organisms (fruit flies), new experimental techniques, and new experiences guiding peers.
In free time, I like baking, knitting, reading, taking photos, gardening, and visiting art exhibitions. For longer vacations, I love hiking and wandering in nature.
