We made a step forward!

We have many things to celebrate this week, woohoo!

Our first grant is funded. Phoebe's manuscript is accepted. Our brand-new office and lab space are done beautifully (Many thanks to Grace). Our former trainees, Wendy and Chelsea, also reached their milestones in graduate school and PhD applications. Doing science is a privilege, let's keep going!

Our first lab outing

We host Dr. Pete Greenberg and Dr. Carrie Harwood from the University of Washington for a one-day tour in Taipei. We chatted about quorum-sensing and our careers as scientists over excellent coffee at Simple Coffee 101.

Welcome Yu-Jun, An-I, and Shih-Yun, who officially join the lab of PIE. Today, we celebrate our grand opening with the ECG lab (Ching-Ho, Chung-Ju, and Chien). We thank all the love and support from IPMB and look forward to having more fun together.

New page, new lab

The lab of PIE will officially launch on October 1, 2025, in room A322 of the Agricultural Technology Building in Academia Sinica.
